It was a nice Snowy evening on the Top of Mountains. Where we offered Corn to the monkeys on the way. A complete family jumped on the bonnet and enjoyed their meal. Although they messed up my windscreen but was a memorable encounter I have posted a picture here

The cause of rattle often is the backplate of the diskpads when the front pad area wears out, it causes loose packing of the whole assembly here are few measures you should take 1) bend the copper clip slightly inwards to retain tension and grip 2) Apply greese to the back of the pads upon the metallic covers 3) apply grease to the pins holding the assembly I have also posted this procedure with pictures at this location:- Resolving rattle from front brakes Matiz

I found this a very useful way to record your maintenance cost with reference to the vehicle maintenance schedule, All you have to do is take a print of vehicle maintenance sheet and mark the cost spent against each item, this would also enable you to predict your upcoming spendings here is a sample of my Matiz Vehicle Record

I have ,no start, rough idle, low idle rpm when engine is cold problem (esp if i start after overnight parking) i have installed a new IAC valve+ECM RESET+IDLE LEAN but problem is not solved the car runs like breeze when engine is warm, no problems i now suspect PCV valve, if i remove it while engine is running rpm gets to quiet high and then oscillate if i install it i get a very low rough idle, my car wont start in cold i have removed it and if i blow air one way its blocked (which i think it should do so) other way its seems to pass about 10-20% of air, is it normal? should i replace it?

Coldstart idle issue The problem is that when the car is parked esp outside in cold( rather not so cold also) for a long period then the car wont simply start. the initial ignition is immediate but after one or two revs it pick up like its very weak (lets say at 20% power), it starts shaking everything, the dashboard, the engine compartment all gets punched the rpm reading is also very low (about 600) . when i depress the pedal the car stalls immdediately. Then when i give it a crank, crank after cranks, it just wont start. and if it does start the same symptoms. but sometimes if a press the pedal very very carefully , it picks up speed but with jerky way and the problem fades away. now when the engine is warm. There is absolutely no issue. Initially i suspected IAC valve as it seemed broken and stuck, i replaced with a brand new orinal one. then i felt the same problem for the first start. i then did ecm reset and idle lean procedure, then it felt like the engine is very happy and every thing was ok. i wAS INITIALLY HAPPY that the prob is gone. But now after a long period i started the car and it has the same prob, the same problem repeated. I have tried to explain in detail so as to get expert advice from u guys regards
