critical
What is the difference between sparks and matiz? Hi i am from singapore, we only have sparks here Thank you How is everybody here? Link to comment
Zetics
Matiz is the ancestor of Spark! As far as I know, Spark = Matiz III, so is a facelift. You might say it has a more modern look, higher quality and better engines. Sad enough though, as I recall Spark has only 2.5* at EuroNCAP tests, while Matiz has 3*. Matiz is still in production here, in Romania, and is the cheapest car on our market. But it's doing its job! And most important for us, it has the lowest costs for maintanance too! I suppose you can find a lot of pictures on the internet with Matiz. Cheers! Link to comment

This is correct mainly for Matiz I and Matiz II. The percent is more like 99.99%. Matiz III(Chevrolet Spark) is rather different ... The only similarities with his ancestors may appear at the front suspension and the 800cc engine ... except for that I don't think there are many other interchangable components.
