Dj_Dark
I have no words... That engine it's so outrageous. It's SO CLEAN in the first place. Good Work, but that f16 can it stand it ? what torque you have? Edited November 30, 2007 by Dj_Dark Link to comment
Lao
Welcome to romanian Daewoo forums Mr. G I already told you on daewootech.com that I like your Woo. I'm glad to see you presented it here. Keep it up! Great work! Link to comment
mr_G
I have no words... That engine it's so outrageous. It's SO CLEAN in the first place. Good Work, but that f16 can it stand it ? what torque you have? On nitrous it has over 250Nm and over 220HP... Without it (every day) 172HP and 200Nm messaured on MAHA-dyno brake... My brother (mr_m) got his hands on my car.. And here is little movie on his run... I was filming it... It's on winter tyres, 14''... You can here how short gears are... He was shifting on 6500-6800rpm and finished 4-th gear before braking... That road is almost 400m long... It's N/A.. On winter 185/60-R14... Some older pictures... Link to comment
closchkutza
Congratulations! That car is gorgeous, i like so much what you have done of that Lanos. It looks great and it goes like hell! i have a few questions: -how much did you spent to get the car in this shape? -did you reinforced the body to sustain the force developed by the engine? -did you do any modifications to the engine in order to hold to NoS boost? mr_G
Congratulations! That car is gorgeous, i like so much what you have done of that Lanos. It looks great and it goes like hell!i have a few questions: -how much did you spent to get the car in this shape? -did you reinforced the body to sustain the force developed by the engine? -did you do any modifications to the engine in order to hold to NoS boost? Well, I didn't get lucky, and it cost me a lot... 2 year old Lanos Sport for 5.5kEU... That was lucky and good burging... But LPG, tuning, NOS, wheels, everything is over 10kEU... And many thousnd of mine working hours on it that doesn't have price.. It could have bean done cheaper... With my knoledge now, it would be done half price... I still have many money to spent on engine, but when I smoke some fancy-shmency BMW, or Honda or Audi on trafic light... IT'S PRICELESS seeing big question marks on dudes head that was blown by daewoo... Front uper and down strut bar is the only reinforcment of the body.. Engine is totally stock internals, and it must hold up to 100HP nitrous shot... After a year of delaying, my brother and I finally decided to do the projector headlight conversion. A little car accident few days ago was a bump in my ass to go and get it done.. LED mount made from fiber. 9 LEDs will be used as day driving light, because they light pritty hard. Our law says that we have to have headlights lid all the time. But it's useless to burn xenon on the day... So the LEDs would do the trick... Here it is, projectors in carbon fiber with LEDs. Headlight almost finished. But the turn light is to contrast. I will have to paint it in black too... Left headlight on the picture have only LEDs lid. Right headlight on the picture have both LEDs and projector lid. Here you can see only LEDs are lid, and it lights pretty hard... I would say that they lid more powerfull than 10W position bulbs.. Here is final result. Ignore bumped bumper and hood. :? I got another C20XE head, because current head on my engine cracked. I was running it cracked for 10 months now, and it is time to change it... Engine is overheating now all the time... Head was disaster when I got it. Few days of work and here it is... Link to comment

Mircea
Nice work! I like that you modified the brakes also, this mean that you're a very responsible person. How is the car handling now that you have so much power on the front axle? Link to comment
mr_G
Nice work! I like that you modified the brakes also, this mean that you're a very responsible person. How is the car handling now that you have so much power on the front axle? It's great. Actually that is not to much power... Stock ECU is limiting boost on first gear, and the second gear there is no overboost... The 3rd gear kicks ass! "> The brakes are just in plan... Already bought everything, just not enough time to put them on... 284mm front discs from calibra turbo, 270mm rear discs from vectra... Now I have only 256mm front discs... ("> It's impossible to stop with that.. Link to comment
mr_G
Did the brake upgrade 8) Front calipers from calibra turbo 4x4 Front vented discs 284mm from fiat coupe Rear discs 270mm, and calipers from calibra turbo Link to comment

mr_G
What do you do with that computer? Can you post some pictures with it in operation? For now, just MP3, movies, etc... I plan to install VEMS and have complete engine monitoring and tuning online, TV/FM, GPS navigation, complete air conditioning control, etc... Last weekend I have been on unformal street race meeting in Osijek, Croatia... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48teDyZkWnk...feature=relatedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D18JBCHIphA&feature=user In first movie, I go against Kadet-C 4.0 204kW 920kg race tires RWD and won by half size... He fucked up start... I have 150kw stock, 1200kg FWD and stock tires (pzero nero)... In second try he smoked me by 3 car sizes... In second movie I go against nissan 200sx (1.8t not stock) and won by 2 car sizes... Link to comment
Zmeul cel rau
Yes, but what did you do with the AC controls? Link to comment
XTCOli
Nice Work with the PC. But i think you got any problems with your HDD. Its a 3,5" HDD, not shock protected. It would be better, when you have a 2,5" HDD out of a Laptop. I had this problem with my car-pc. Link to comment
mr_G
AC control will be resolved with small car model's servos and AVR control.. Nice Work with the PC. But i think you got any problems with your HDD. Its a 3,5" HDD, not shock protected. It would be better, when you have a 2,5" HDD out of a Laptop.I had this problem with my car-pc. Mircea
Unfortunatelly there is no room under the hood for that booster... Link to comment
john magne
Unfortunatelly there is no room under the hood for that booster... yes it is. maybe some small modification, but wee have fitted this to a nova also, and it was no problem. that one pull out 387hp on a dynopack on only 18psi. the only modifications on the engine was this turbo and manifold,H-beam rods,MLS gasket,EDS phase 4 chip and larger injectors.. Link to comment
mr_G
It's fast enough... Than I would have to put some casted rods and arp srews and maybe pistons... It's to expansive and there is no point on FWD... I will have over boost about 1.3bar with stoock KKK16. It's about 280HP and it's enough for FWD... Link to comment
