Cold Idle Problem

Coldstart idle issue

 

The problem is that when the car is parked esp outside in cold( rather not so cold also) for a long period then the car wont simply start.

 

the initial ignition is immediate but after one or two revs it pick up like its very weak (lets say at 20% power), it starts shaking everything, the dashboard, the engine compartment all gets punched

 

the rpm reading is also very low (about 600) . when i depress the pedal the car stalls

immdediately.

 

Then when i give it a crank, crank after cranks, it just wont start.

and if it does start the same symptoms.

 

but sometimes if a press the pedal very very carefully , it picks up speed but with

jerky way and the problem fades away. now when the engine is warm. There is absolutely no issue.

 

Initially i suspected IAC valve as it seemed broken and stuck, i replaced with a brand new

orinal one. then i felt the same problem for the first start. i then did ecm reset and idle lean procedure, then it felt like the engine is very happy and every thing was ok. i wAS INITIALLY HAPPY that the prob is gone.

 

But now after a long period i started the car and it has the same prob, the same problem repeated.

 

I have tried to explain in detail so as to get expert advice from u guys

The spark plugs are ok?If one is defective you have problems.Also verify the electric generator (alternator), the level of oil and PCV valve.

Omul ne zice parca de o boala veche, ca nu-i pleaca in frig (nu stiu la vara), cand pleaca ( greu ) abia sufla si incepe sa trepideze nebun, parca-parca simte nitel pedala, ca i-a facut Idle Learn cu IAC nou si a mers, dar masina a stat ceva timp si s-a prostit la loc.

Daca trepideaza, nu-i mere niste cilindri...

Try to replace the spark plugs wires.

I have ,no start, rough idle, low idle rpm when engine is cold

problem (esp if i start after overnight parking)

 

i have installed a new IAC valve+ECM RESET+IDLE LEAN but problem is not solved

 

the car runs like breeze when engine is warm, no problems

 

i now suspect PCV valve, if i remove it while engine is running rpm gets to quiet high and then oscillate

 

if i install it i get a very low rough idle, my car wont start in cold

 

i have removed it and if i blow air

 

one way its blocked (which i think it should do so)

other way its seems to pass about 10-20% of air, is it normal?

 

should i replace it?
