Ca si compatibilitate, da. (modificat de mine) Vezi specificatii: ex. "CompactFlash Type II slot, Microdrive compatible 32-bit FAT support" adicatelea merg folosite amandoua, nu ca sunt aceeasi branza. Later edit Fiindca a inceput razboiul, hai intai sa studiem cu totii terenul. Deci sistemele CF <> de HDD, tocmai ca nu au piese in miscare (cum spuse viperu'), iar sistemul de stocare a datelor este de tip flash memory, nu clasic ca la HDD. The 340MB Microdrive proved to be somewhat problematic and was dropped from production and replaced by the 512MB Microdrive. At the end of December 2002 Hitachi bought IBM's disk drive business and formed a new Hitachi Global Storage Technologies company. In addition to the desktop and laptop hard drives, Hitachi will also be producing the popular 1-inch Microdrive. Hitachi Global Storage said that it planned to produce a Microdrive with 4 gigabytes of storage. At that time the largest Microdrive that IBM made only held 1 gigabyte of data. The CompactFlash Type II form factor Microdrive is extremely popular in high resolution digital cameras, PDAs and MP3 players. Do I need to say more? Link to comment

Ma scuzi de intarziere, dar CF repet, nu are piese in miscare si foloseste memoria de tip flash (de unde si numele). Microdrive, stim amandoi. Vezi si linkul meu te rog. Si daca n-am inteles eu bine, "CompactFlash storage products are solid state, meaning they contain no moving parts, and provide users with much greater protection of their data than conventional magnetic disk drives. They are five to ten times more rugged and reliable than disk drives including those found in PC Card Type III products. CF cards consume only five percent of the power required by small disk drives. CompactFlash cards support both 3.3V and 5V operation and can be interchanged between 3.3V and 5V systems. This means that any CF card can operate at either voltage. Other small form factor flash cards may be available to operate at 3.3V or 5V, but any single card can operate at only one of the voltages. CF Type I is 3.3 mm thick and CF Type II cards are 5mm thick. A CF Type I card will operate in a CF Type I or CF Type II slot. A CF Type II card will only fit in a CF Type II slot. The electrical interfaces are identical. CompactFlash is available in both CF Type I and CF Type II cards, though predominantly in CF Type I cards. The Microdrive is a CF Type II card. Citatul de mai jos e luat de pe sit-ul lui SanDisk, aia care au inventat CF-ul, si au facut-o tocmai in opozitie cu HDD: rezistenta la socuri, nu are piese in miscare deci consumul este infim, si asa cum puteti sa cititi au in vedere inlocuirea HDD de pe PC-uri cu device-uri de tip flash in viitor (cine stie?). The highest capacities for industrial CF cards, which are the more popular Type I form factors, are increased from 2GB to 4GB (industrial grade) and from 4GB to 8GB (standard grade). Si altele daca mai vreti tot aici Hitachi a creat un HDD miniatural care poate fi citit de un adaptor sau o intrare CF II /I/O (Input/Output). Poate zice si asta ceva: "The CompactFlash PC Card adapter provides access to CompactFlash Type I and Type II and Hitachi / IBM Microdrive memory cards on a Laptop or any other device equipped with a PC Card (PCMCIA) slot without any driver." Chiar daca n-are stabilizare. Parca eu cand foloseam pe timpuri teleobiectivele ale de jde kile si de juma de metru, pe SLR clasic aveam pe mama stabilizatorului, ca nici nu stiam ce-i aia acum 30 de ani. mr_ Posted February 2, 2006 Share Posted February 2, 2006 (edited) E 334€ cu tot cu transport. In plus, am mai cumparat de la astia si sunt super ok, sunt client vechi la ei. N-am avut probleme nici cu garantia, nici cu livrarea, au fost de acord sa-mi schimbe o memorie care nu-mi mergea cu o placa video, etc. Ultima oara am cumparat doua placi de retea wireless si mi le-au livrat in 24 ore.
